Irrigation:
Among corn cereals, it is the most efficient plant for the production of dry produce. Maximum water use per plant (ETM) varies between 500-850 mm / season. The water requirement in maize can be estimated by observing curls and stalks on the leaves. Watering of the plant should be done as follows:
- Watering once every 4 to 8 days before the first cultivation when the plant is 10-15 cm (4-5 leaves);
- Watering once every 4 to 8 days before the second cultivation and bottoming when the plant is 40-60 cm (8-10 leaves);
- Dispose of the scalp (one week before the skull comes out);
- Once it is known that the body enters milk, it is watered once.
The most suitable irrigation method for maize is rain-based irrigation or pressure irrigation systems. The silage method can be used without irrigation or drip irrigation systems as the silos for the silos are dense.
Fertilization:
Due to the rapid development of the maize, especially from the 6th week, the top fertilization is not possible in the form of 2-3 parts as in other field plants.
